The Metropolitan Campus of the Inter American University of Puerto Rico will sponsor

 “Neuroscience for the 21^st Century: A Multidisciplinary Approach”.

This is the first neuroscience multidisciplinary congress held in Puerto Rico

addressed to a wide variety of professionals in the health, behavioral and

educational community.

 

The purpose of the Congress is to disseminate scientific knowledge in the field of neuroscience in order to:

· Keep the community informed of recent findings in the field of neuroscience and
its Implications in different areas.

· Contribute to the search of solutions of mental health problems concerning the community in Puerto Rico, and

· Stimulate the scientific research in the behavioral and learning areas.

The plenary and breakout sessions will include topics in neurology and related
technologies, neuropathology, behavioral problems and learning disabilities and
brain-based teaching and learning.
